Used Red Noise Woodpecker Fuzz/Repeat Tremolo in Very Good Condition. A few scuff marks, though the trem is not super noticeble unless the fuzz is also activated. Nice fuzz/trem combo, perfect for shoegazing late 80's spacey sounds. Feel free to contact us with any questions!
Here's some info from Red Noise: "Originally designed as a custom order for Swedish guitarist and producer Ludwig Böss (Band of Horses, Volkspark), the Woodpecker combines the Red Noise Stone Blender Fuzz with a Tremolo circuit based on the Repeat Percussion by Vox (1969 – 1973). This unique tremolo was originally designed for organs to emulate fast picking on a banjo and has a distinct, very choppy and somewhat metallic sound. In high speeds and in combination with the fuzz the woodpecker can sound like a Ring Modulator, a Bit Crusher or even a Synth, with the tremolo complimenting the fuzz and further expanding it's capabilities."

Controls:
- Volume – Controls the output volume.
- Fuzz - Controls the amount of signal going into the fuzz circuit
- Tone - Adjusts high & low frequencies
- 1N60 / 1N4148 Diode Selector (Toggle Switch) – There are two clipping diode options in the Woodpecker: 1N60 (germanium) result in a “purry” and less distorted sound. 1N4148 (Silicon) offer a much more distorted signal.
- De-Clip – Often when using a fuzz pedal, the guitar or bass tend to lose their bite and presence in the mix / live performance. The De-Clip knob offers further tonality shaping by reducing the amount of signal clipping. This helps to better position your instrument in the mix so that your notes and attack are preserved.
- Pre Post Toggle Switch – Positions the Tremolo before or after the Fuzz.
- Depth – The Tremolo functions by a reduction of the signal volume in a pre-
- determined time interval (Speed Knob) and pre-determined shape (Shape Knob). The “Depth” Knob determines how deep the volume cut is going to “bite” into the signal. When fully clockwise you get a choppier sound.
- Speed – Determines the tremolo’s speed.
- Slow / Fast Toggle Switch – Changes between two speed ranges.
- Shape – The Vox Repeat Percussion, is a very distinct sounding and quite harsh tremolo, by essence. I added the Shape knob to allow a “softer” sounding tremolo.
